Holy crap. Were going back online. Trevor got a new iPhone, the blood
behind this blog. The pulse, heartbeat, harbinger. I'm excited to
start doing this blog again. A ton has changed in my life. I think I'm
not going to be so incognito with it from now on. I'll say exactly

Are these long lonesome nights a glimpse into the future? I view them as a tunnel. My minds eye shows me damp and dimly light tunnel with paint that is chipping from the cold nights touch. The evenings damp finger slowly peels away at the paint, showing the bare concrete in all its venerability. I imagine myself in warm clothes to shield my soft cold skin from winters unwelcoming breath. I see myself wondering though this tunnel with its encompassing walls.
Or as I write, the picture in my mind reminds me of a square that resembles downtown Seattle or Portland with tall buildings, wet concrete and empty streets. But like thoughts of a tunnel somewhere that might be seen in the streets of London or in the square of said cites, the mood is solemn and a overwhelming sense of harshness that you would feel if one were to look out the window when you wake up and see that it has been pouring rain all through the night. Most comely described as gloomy. Similarly like the feeling of hearing bad news, and wanting to fall into a deep slumber so that the time might pass.
Although I am an avid fan of such weather. These long fall nights pull my heart into a dreary lonesome place, where I feel not at home. These nights effect me where I feel that I would see a completely different person in the mirror. Where do these feelings stem from? I have not the answer to that question. What I feel my self wrestling with in my head, Is what is really the true identity of myself? For four long months, I have sat alone for more hours then with someone and I find my thoughts and inner self walking through this secluded town unaccompanied by any chatter or discussion. Through the day I witness myself more or less as a spectator following myself witnessing what I do. Out of body as if I were third party. Soon the light closes its weary eyes and the moon comes to shine forth its brightness and here I sit. Looking to the stars as my audience.
A bad mood I am not in. No discomfort, No animosity. But a plateau of emotion, unwavering and still. What exactly it does to write this on the internet I don't know. No satisfaction really comes of it. But a billboard of self I suppose.

The question is what.

Reliance & faith

When we were young and our parents would take us to Disneyland for the day, all we had to do was hold on to our Mom or Dad's hand and we would always end up where we wanted to go. Whether it was getting from The Log Ride to Space Mountain or getting from Toon Town to The Corn Dog Truck (my personal favorite spot) our parents would get us there. Maybe there were a few stops a long the way, such as stopping at certain places to take pictures or go on different rides, but our destination was always reached.
Sometimes however things would get a tad complicated. Along the way, somehow we would lose track of where we were going, or we would take or hands out of our parents grasp and before we knew it we were off running to a character that was signing autographs or in my case something shiny on the ground. Soon after we would be lost in a place that was not familiar, confusing, loud and full of strangers. It would be an incredibly scary thing. Most of the time when you witness this, kids will run around screaming because of the fear of not knowing what's going on or the thought of being disconnected from their parents. I'm not sure as kids we realize the gravity of the situation, all we know is that we want to get back to our parents. But soon, some security guard or another adult will see that we are lost and do whatever it takes to get us back connected with our parents. And how joyful is that reconnection? Sure our parent might be a bit miffed at us for running off somewhere, but we don't care because were back in our parents arms.
How much is this picture like our walk with our savior Jesus Christ? The place we live in is a big scary world in which the majority of the people could care less if your lost. Reason being, is because they are lost themselves. We know that our FATHER has a plan and mission for our lives. And the only way we are going to find it and stay on it, is if we cling to our father and grasp his hand. It goes the same when we see something that takes our eyes off the lord, whether it be a new relationship or something else that divides our attention. If not checked, we can quickly become lost in our new obsession or sin. We can very quickly become entangled and lost in what we shouldn't have become involved with in the first place. The good part however, is it just takes a voice. Our voice crying out "Abba, Father, I need you" and faster then ants to honey our God shows up to help or to quickly get us untangled in whatever we had gotten ourselves into. There needs to be a real child like faith that is unshaken when we walk with Christ. He is an all knowing, all powerful god, that transcends time and space. It shouldn't be difficult to put our faith into him to begin with. Praise our Heavenly Father for the thought him of knowing our path.
Such as our parents knew the way to get to our destination at Disneyland, Our Father knows our destination in this world and life. I've heard people describe walking with Christ as difficult, That's an odd statement to me. All that needs to be done is just happily hold his hand and trust that he knows where he is going, this I find incredibly easy. All I'm required to do is just look to him for questions and needs and sing praise to him all through the day. It's when WE take OUR hands off god that times get difficult. We become lost, confused, anxious and tired of the place that we are at. But, as easy as clinging to him is as easily as calling out for help and it arrives.
We are in a lost world, but we find ourselves found. WE are the ones who know the TRUTH for those who are Dead men walking. Just as the people who selflessly help us at Disneyland to reconnect us with our parents, We need to be reconnecting the lost with their Father.
I have much more to say. But I think I'll leave it at that. Pray that God will lead you to these lost souls and will allow you to gleam some kind of hope to them. And if you are reading this, And find you self lost and needing to know where to go. Contact me, I'll happily tell you.

The rain begins to drop on my windshield. I look right, then I look left. I think to myself "Boy, it's chilly tonight." then look to the temperature gauge and it says it thirty six degrees outside with a little snow emblem next to the number. The light turns green and I slip the car into first gear and slowly let out the clutch and press the accelerator. It's in between gears that I start to think, "What am I doing, am I doing enough?" that is the first drop of the evening that lands in the proverbial pond that sends ripples through my mind. That was the thought that is tonight's snowball down a hill. Second gear turns into third, fourth then settling into fifth gear. Now I'm driving down State freeway 43 on my way home from church. The thought stays in mind, but I put it on the shelf.
"Welcome to Culver's, how can I help you tonight?" is what I hear from the drive thru speaker. *Insert long pause* Uh…. I'll have a number one, plain with a Mt. Dew Please. "Garble garble FOUR garble garble second window please" is the response I receive. "Right" I reply. The car goes into first and I push in the clutch, and it as if the world come to a complete halt. "Is this It?, Is this my contribution? " comes to mind. Now I'm starting to think that this car is some kind of freaky spook car. Before I know it I'm pulling into the driveway at my house and the entire ride home has been a flash in the pan, completely driven on auto pilot while I'm sure some type of music was playing while I zoned out.
Dinners finished, the night is coming to an end. I had watched a thought provoking movie that caused my spirit to stir. And that's where I guess it starts. My mind picks up that subject again, "what in the Lord's name am I doing?" Am I living up to the expectations of what my creator has put me on this earth for? Which is where I selfishly point my finger to everyone else and yell "HEY, what about them!" but in all reality it's myself that I need to look at. Sure, my life has never been much of a stellar beacon of example when it comes to how I should be acting. This isn't a note about how I'm such a better person now, But while I'm on the subject , what's the comparison that I use as a barometer of how good of a person I really am? Pick anyone really, and it reality will shine it's ugly face on my life and it wont look so great. You can make a safe bet about how thankful I am that it doesn't matter how "good" or "bad" I am, but how I'm covered by the blood of the Anointed One to save my cheeks.
Now that I'm done with that rabbit trail we can get back to what any of us are doing, or lack there of. Today, the measure of a man is based off of his accomplishments or his "loot" for lack of a better term. Older men are forced to duel with men or boys half their age to produce what seemingly comes of much less toil compared to the effort that is required by their younger counterparts. And for what? To stay as their equal? To keep there job? Surely if they are to continue to promote in whatever they are involved with they will need to work three or four times harder and longer. What comes as a sacrifice to this? Their family does, Their loved ones, Their peace and their happiness. What drives us to be at the top? A comfortable living? I doubt it. I'm sure its pride. Wanting to be at the top of the food chain. To be the one who gives out the commands rather then the one who receives them. In the grand scheme of things what is behind all of this. It's money. Were told in 1 Timothy 6:10,

"For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows."

That's pretty much sums it up. So were does that leave us. How do we judge a man's accomplishments or at least his success. Well, it's rhetorical in my opinion, We don't. Wait… What? That's right, we don't. First off its not our right to judge a mans success or what he has for his lot in life. It's not our place to say what God has provided him with is not enough. I've searched around and I couldn't find anywhere in the bible where God has given us the okay or permission to judge what he is doing in someone person's life.
This leads me to my next point what fuels your drive? When you get up in the morning, moaning and groaning that you have to get up out of your incredibly comfortable bed, suffer what seems like a death march through the cold to your shower, standing in an almost mummy like state, dizzy and tired just wanting five more minutes of sleep. Are we going to where God has called us to provide for a family? Are we going there because we want that extra promotion? Are we going there for that Porsche? I would invite an open honest look into yourself to see what exactly is pushing us out of bed every morning. Is it our Heavenly Father's desire for us to be there or Green Backs?

"But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you." - Matthew 6-33

This is probably one of the most wildly used bible versus in the entire bible. Any concern, any question and any problem can easily be dodged by simply stating this verse and saying "I'll pray for you brother." and all uncomfortable conversation that you had no desire getting into can be dodged. But in the way I want it used is for the reason that it was written. That is, to encourage my brothers and sisters to seek Christ and his Holy Face and everything is going to fall into place. This is so important, to be led by the Spirit in all of our movements. We must let our own will go, and let our Father use us as if we were pieces in a chess game against the enemy. If we were playing a game of chess and the Rook were to argue with the move that we knew what was best, how much harder would that game begin to unfold. How hard would it be to control those pieces if they wanted to hold on to their own freewill.
Were told in the beginning of the bible how hard work is going to be in the beginning of Genesis Three. That our work is going to require of us a great amount of sweat and toil. That got me thinking, If were willing to put so much effort into our worldly jobs? Why are we not willing to put so much effort into Gods own message to his creation? It's incredible how much we would benefit in our lives if we weren't to plop down in front of the Idiot box and go back to the classic entertainment form of reading. It would really show a persons true character and walk to themselves by how involved they are willing to devote their time to Gods plan. Which brings us full circle, "What am I doing with my life?" The answer in my opinion is it shouldn't matter. As long as we know that Christ is the center of what ever were trying to get ourselves in. We know that God wouldn't put anything into our lives that we can not handle. God knows the necessities that we require if we are married, have children, single or are abroad. I would submit that we should be more focused on our success and riches that will not burn at the Judgment of the Bema Seat .
I suppose what I'm saying is the next time you ask yourself "What am I doing with my life?" you might want to retool the question to "Lord, What would you like to do with my life?"

"Where do we go from here, how do we carry on? I cant get past the questions?"

I'm not really sure how Imogen Heap does it, but somehow she reaches into my skull and dips her fingers into the cauldron of mashed and mixed thoughts that make up my mind and comes up with a song that is able to meet where me where my emotions are at and verbalize what I'm thinking of at the moment of listening. Its very fascinating if you ask me.

At this point you're wondering, "Gee Trevor, Let's be a bit more ambiguous..." but I don't do it on purpose. When I write a blog I don't really think of what to say before I write it. It just kind of comes to paper.....errr... well, text naturally from my mind to my fingers through my keyboard and onto the screen which is magically connected to the world wide web. Computers and the net is quit fascinating if you ask me. Because as I write this to you, Theoreticaly the text I'm writing at this very moment in time (you can't see the text and cursory going across the screen but you can pretend) is *ahem* going across my screen as if it were a word processor, through little wires through the world wide web to this website and back to my computer via the same way it went out. And speaking of the net, do any of you remember that terrible movie that Sandra Bullock starred in called well.... "The Net". Well, in the movie she decides that she doesn't want to go out for the night (beginning scene of the movie) and stays inside to order a pizza (over the net) and it gets delivered to her via real person. Well, I was thinking about this the other day thinking how silly that movie was for assuming that technology would get to the point where all Order Takers of the pizza world be made useless due to the glory of the net..... Well ladies and gentlemen, It's happened. I ordered pizza of the net via Domino's pizza's website. It was actually kind of a cool experience, The only let down is that Domino's pizza taste like garbage. And I don't mean the garbage that is in under your sink, I'm talking about the really gnarly garbage that is behind a Mexican food joint that you see rats pouring in and out of.(I have seen this, It's disgusting)

SO ANYWAYS,

I started writing this blog (the current one you are reading) thanks to mike. And I have to say the "mike" blog is started strong but has fallen off. I'm not one to really last long on random thoughts. As I mentioned above, I may not plan out what to write, but at least I have a good idea of what I'm going to be up against. This blog not so much. I have the reputation of being somewhat of a loud person. I've had this problem since I was a little kid. I talk loud, I'm constintly being told that I make too much noise when everyone is trying to be quiet. I find this not to be my fault though. I figure the blame is on my parents when they deicded to name me "Trevor". Why would that matter? Well, if we dig further into the meaning of the name you will see what I mean.

I find this unsuitable. Actually It's very suitable for my personality. But I think it sucks. I was doomed from the start. Set up. Framed. Its like one of those tricks you play on a friend knowing that they will look like the ass end of a joke when the follow through with what you sent them to do. I was talking to my friend Nick and his name means somethign a long the line of "fighter for the people." or something awesome. What the hell? I've thought about legally changing my name to something cooler. But I think 1. it would be too much of a discrace to my parents 2. Wouldn't match my personality."Large village". Thats the reason my unquiet behavior, and for the people that I have annoyed. Well. you can eat it I suppose.

Recently I wnt and saw the movie Transformers 2 at this movie theater that was just recently revamped. To be honest, the place has to be on the list of Top 5 theaters i've ever been to now. It use to be one of those theaters with sticky floors and questionable stains in the seats. But when they were done they did it in a very classy 40's style theme, like you were in a fancy 40's black and white flick, as if you were waiting for Humphrey Bogart to walk past you to see Terminator Salvation. (I'm sure he would be seeing that, right?) There are a few things that I really like about this theater.

a. I know this might not really matter to most people, but to me it's huge on the richtor scale in movie going experiance which is that when you buy your drink, you have to go fill the drinks yourself. Which means on any size drink you pruchase you get a free refill. Thats awesome. If I'm going to spend 38.43 on a large drink I would like three or possibly four if the drinking pace per movie length ratio is in acceptable aspect.

b1. They have "Premimum seating" where you pay four more bucks and you get into reserved seating like a baseball game. you pick where you want to sit and dont have to worry about lines. On top of that, the extra 5 bucks you spent actually is used as a voucher for the food court or you can use it for the bar they have upstairs where the entrence is for the priemum seating.

b2. At said bar you can get a refill for your soda. I am very much not into drinking alcohol. But its incredibly convenient not to have to walk all the way to the drink stand to get a refill. Instead I could have some poor pathetic underpaid bartender do it.thus making the movietime/drinkpace ratio much nicer.

Ive noticed lately that I enjoy going to the movies less and less. Its not the quality of the movie. But the reason is due to the quality of public shuveling themeselves into the seats. I usually end up paying 15 bucks and get this freaking jerk off sitting behind me:

I have a problem with that type of oral noises to begin with. I get frustrated and angry when someone around me is eating with bad manners or with there mouth open. the chewing noises drive me insane. It takes away from a dramatic situation when you have some donkey sitting behind you chewing like its his first time having some sort of sweet or popcorn. For my rapsheets saftey and their physical saftey, its better that I dont go anyways.

I'm just rambling at this point. I have a lot to say. But will save it for another time. So untill then you guys enjoy this.

I would like to take a moment to apologize. Not that I have anyone "officially" following my blog. But I know that people do read this. So to my secrete fan club, well... I'm sorry. Now that we have the sappy and sorry words out of the way. I'll update my blog.

A few months ago I was suppose to leave for home and start living my normal life, I felt that my job out in Wisconsin wasn't really done. So here as I sit, I sit on soil that is in the state that is not my home that has been coined as "Wisconsin, "Americas beige" by my brother and I. Not a whole lot has changed here. Still living in the new house, still reading a lot of books and not really doing anything besides that.

I've started up a few new hobbies though and they are as follows:

High Fidelity Music.

You would figure that I hadn't been listening to poor quality music to begin with. But the more I got into the subject I had found that my listening ability has been largely watered down by poor qaulity mp3s and the headphones that at the time I thought were great. Well, turns out I was wrong, and wrong in a big way. After a lot of researching at head-fi.org I had come to the realization that my "Apple Premium" ear buds are useless. Sure they might have been a decent pair of ear buds that will do the job and sound halfway decent doing so. I found out for not much more money there are Phones that sound much much better. So after deciding on a pair of Grado Sr80I phones and reading plenty of good reviews I decided to pick up a pair. Damn... What a difference. The clarity in the tones are simply amazing. There is no distortion in the highs when a deep bass hit might sound off. One thing that I noticed is that when you listen to crappy headphones is that the music becomes distorted at high volume and it ruined the listening experience. On these cans their isn't any type of distortion to be found. So I find myself very happy while listening to my music now.

I've been wanting to try and compose some of my own music for a long time. So I thought I would take a step forward and actually attempt it. Its been (and i'm sure will continue to be) a slow start. There is waaay more stuff to learn then in Garageband (which really isn't all that simple to begin with) but still has a pretty simple userface. Maybe if you guys are lucky i'll post some stuff.

Well.... That's really it. Hopefully you guys will start seeing more of me.

I don't think anyone reads This anymore, but I think I'm going to
carry on anyways. A lot had changed in the month and half that i
havent posted. I was able to visit home and see my best friend leave
to the air force. That hurt a lot but I know its for the best. Gods
